It worked! I stayed away and dealt with my addiction to these boards hoping the price would go up. I'll go away for another 6 weeks and see whats going on! GLTA

1) Duran Ventures will be exhibiting at the Vancouver Resource Show Jan 25 –26 2) The promotional focus has moved from the Aguila copper deposit to the precious metals which are found in the tunnels of the Passacancha, areas north of the Aguila and in the area known as the Santa Rosa. In 1998, Rio Tinto, one of the largest mining companies in the world, explored the Santa Rosa. They found gold contained in numerous samples taken from old mine dumps. These showings are of sufficient interest to warrant Duran to explore this area in further detail. 3) I believe the sell off in Duran was over done and tax loss selling pressure is finished. 4) New members have been added to the Board of Directors including three senior executives one from Noranda, Placer Gold and Aur Resources. New field personal are in place, led by Cary Pothorin, former VP Exploration for Acero-Martin Exploration Inc. Cary successfully advanced the Pinaya Porphyry Copper-Gold Skarn Deposit in Peru to a National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource. He assumed the duties as President of Duran’s Peru subsidiary effective April 1, 2008. An additional asset is his fluency in Spanish. 5) Drilling results from the Aguila have resulted in excellent grades and depth of copper and molybdenum. Several anomalies remain to be explored near the which may have similar potential. 6) Assay results from the Passacancha hole 4b will be completed for the Vancouver Show. Hole 4b was positioned to drill into the tunnel area where mineralization is known to occur. Although I do not know the drill results, there is every reason to believe these results will be very positive.
