What we know right now: -holes 1-7 were drilled in a drill fence east/west with hole 2 being the most westerly and 4 the most easterly -we have about 650m from bottom of hole #2 to bottom of hole #4 east/west -we have 600m depth to bottom of hole #6 -grades are all great -hole 8 was done on a new drill fence 50m to the north (with excellent results – the best to date!) -therefore the results from hole 8 extended the deposit to the north by 50m -650m east/west x 600m depth x 50 north/south =19.5 million cubic meters or (x 2.7) = 52.65 million tonnes <= we can say we have this now
Now we need the north south situation: -Every 50m added to the north could add $2.84 Billion to the value of the mine (52.65 million t x 0.7% x $3.5cu x 2202) -or in terms of share price each 50m to the north could be worth about an additional $1.30/new drv share in a buy out situation -430 m north/south could make for a $25 Billion mine
I would be interested to know if the company is planning the next holes in a north/south fence (to start a box) or if they will continue an east/west direction on the new drill fence. A new line of holes in the north/south direction could substantially increase the deposit and stock price!

This was a post by Rogers on Agoracom:
'' would be interested to know if the company is planning the next holes in a north/south fence (to start a box) or if they will continue an east/west direction on the new drill fence. A new line of holes in the north/south direction could substantially increase the deposit and stock price!''
And Agoracom's reply,
Rogers,
We received the following reply from MMG management:
“Dear Interested Parties
There have been numerous good questions about the current drill plan .
The Company is not allowed to provide information to only a select few individuals such as on Agoracom that has not been made available to the general public.
Our public disclosures appear to be under very close scrutiny these past several months including the items discussed on this forum.
We will attempt to have maps showing our current drill plans included in the news release of the next completed drill holes.
Regards
George A Brown President & CEO MacMillan Gold Corp.”
It is good that George realizes that investors are watching them and expecting him to live up to his statements/promises...

Nice drill update today! Just my opinion of course but think of it this way. Starting from the south we will have: Hole 9 and 10, then 50m to the north is the drill fence of holes 1-7 and then 50m north of that is hole 8. -Hole 9 was drilled almost identical to hole 8 but 100m south of hole 8 and 50m south of the drill fence of hole 1-7 -Hole 9 should have excellent results ;D since it was drilled in the porphyry target from east angled to the west -Hole 10 was drilled similar to hole 4 from the east and towards the east outside the target -We shouldn’t expect great results from hole 10 but it will be important in which it will simply show the breakeven or better value of expanding the pit to the east so the middle of the pit can go deeper Look at both maps so it will make more sense to you.. Hole 1-8 remember (hole 8 is 50m to the north from the rest) media3.marketwire.com/docs/Dsktch603.pdfHoles 9 and 10 media3.marketwire.com/docs/drmap723.pdf

Hey Pasa, The Agoracom post mentions a few rock types that many may not be familiar with; chalcopyrite-molybdenite for example. We know that porphyry in this mine has historically contained large %ge of Cu, but there are examples from other mines like virgin metals in mexico and global copper in chile which have mentioned chalcopyrite-molybdenite as indicator minerals for lower values of % Cu. Virgin metals tsedb.globeinvestor.com/servl... Global Copper biz.yahoo.com/iw/071024/03195... I find the Global copper deposit more representative of the potential of Aguilla...While hole #9 has the potential to provide an excellent N/S expansion of the current indicated deposit, hole #10 has the potential to highlight lower grades of Mo-Cu expanded further in the E/W direction. Although lower, these could be of economic grade. imo ven
