After the news release regarding hole 4B. I did a little searching on Alamo Dorado which George refers to in his Dec 18 Interview. Now before I start I am by no means an expert when it comes to exploration or mining. I am just a guy trying to figure out what the latest news release means to his investment going forward.
What I did find, when Corner Bay was taken out they had prov en up Alamo Dorado to 23.36 million tonnes of ore containing 71 grams of silver per tonne and 0.27 grams of gold per tonne. Plus 12.14 million tonnes of ore containing 60 grams of silver per tonne and 0.24 grams of gold per tonne.
The silver values of hole 4b are roughly half of the final findings at AD, a little disappointing considering the tunnel sampling was on par or better then AD. Some positives concerning Pasa, George has stated that Pasa has the potential to be several times larger then AD. Plus the price of silver has been holding in the $10 to $12 range not the $4.60 when Pan American took out Corner Bay. A question I do have. Is it feasible for a major to mine a deposit for roughly 1oz of silver per tonne (if this is as good as it gets, allot of drilling between here and there)

Leo,
Only one drill hole was completed in the target area and the results show some promise. The company is in the early stages, so should they proceed, the results would probably come close to other operations through increased tonnage of a grade of 1 oz/ tonne. If the grades stay in the same range through more drilling in the target region, then the bulk tonnage would increase giving us much higher values than AD. The real key is keeping the value/tonne at a saleable level. So 1 oz/ tonne plus some copper, plus zinc and lead, might give us a value/tonne high enough to give decent profits after open pit costs are taken into account.

I agree with both of you. That hole wasn't a home run but it does show mineralization. Pasa covers a very large area and I would think they will want to grow this tonnage and also find the heart of this monster.
